Those convicted in the case include Mahindra & Mahindra chief and former Union Carbide of India Chairman Keshub Mahindra. However, there was no word on Warren Anderson, who was declared an absconder after he did not subject himself to trial in the case that began 23 years ago. The former executive lives in suburban New York. Do u think reopening is going to do any justice even if we suppose that ties b/w India and USA reamains the same.
Hi Shruti, Firstly it took time to me to understand your question not because you were sound confused or erroneous but because the novice of your question. You sound very childish when you ask “Will the return of the Bhopal tragedy inhibit growing ties between India and USA?” Nothing will happen to relation between India and USA. They don’t have this on their national agenda. These kinds of topics and issue does not affect in our country. They are more bothered about themselves Following people will not be getting affected with return of Bhopal mummies even if they return to haunt every year. 1. Warren Anderson 2. Arjun singh 3. Mahindra & Mahindra 4. And all big and small convicts Only People who will be affected will be 1. People of Bhopal 2. Those families who lost their family members 3. Those who got affected and those still facing aftermaths. My opinion, Not spend more Money on warren Anderson and their issue the real culprit is our people (those who let him flew). Anderson is already 90 year old, even if US give you and you hang till death you will not get anything out of it. So it is time to hang Arjun Singh, take all the awards from keshabh Mahindra which he got form Indian govt. and other organization for its work in industry. Its already 25 years they are fighting for justice, Let us some thing for them now. Disclaimer : These are my personal views.
@Jagdish Victims are/were affected by this and not 'will be'... "Hang him or Hang 'em."..This Constitution will not allow to hang him even if they find him guilty..btw you wont get anything by hanging Arjun singh either coz u think age decides justice and he is already 80 years old...
